So let's find out what the Design Team have made this month!...

Corry Hey there crafters.   This time I have made a card with the beautiful flower stamp pretty perfect...For the background I used distress inks and different stamps....At first I stamped the flower on the card.  I blended the leaves with chlorine bleach. After that, I stamped the flower again - I have colored the flowers and butterflies and then I cut it out and glued them on the card. Finally, I placed some glitter on the flower and butterflies...

Terry: Hi there, This time I made a couple of Art Journal Pages, just love to play around with stamps on the background, started with Distress inks, after that I played with all kinds of smaller stamps, from the Honey Daisy, Stampsoup Lemonade Fizz, Texture Gallore, Lavender Tea, Making Faces, Papillon. Bella Fleur, Regal Peacock and Funky Alphabet Stampset, stamped the girls on both pages and colored them with pencils and with inks. With a stencil I placed the swirls and used Modelling Paste for it and mixed orange acrylic paint in with it. And last but not least I stamped some sentiments on the art journal pages.

Irmelin: Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing a canvas I've made with one of the many digital stamps that are in the store. The one I chose was from the Stick & Bones collection. I colored this one with Copic Sketch. The colored image I glued to one canvas and started to add elements. I added fiberglass tape, wood bits from the canvas, string, and branches. I also made a mixture of art stones and glue that I adhered to the canvas. I colored the canvas with ink sprays and decorated with flowers. Finally, I added a title. Hope you will enjoy my project this month!

Jane – I love my art journals at the moment and played with my A6 version today. I used glitter pens and watercolours to create a crazy coloured background and added lots of lovely Stamp Soup stamps for interest.
The focal point is one of the stunning Oddella digis coloured with pencils.

Here's the products the team used...

Gorgeous projects as always!

Love 2 Create - Nikky Hall using a digi image to create a journal page

We are very lucky today and have the very talented Nikky Hall (from Polkadoodles) sharing one her of her projects with us on Love 2 Create using a digi image called Oddella Twig to create a journal page ...

Over to you Nikky ...

I coloured this Oddella image up a few weeks back and when I looked at it the following day I suddenly had an overwhelming urge to make her into a journal page which I have not done for absolutely eons...and I mean eternity eons! So I didnt lose the mojo for her I rushed upstairs as soon as I got in from work and decided I was only allowing the time it took for the pizza to cook and no more - I'm trying to set myself time goals so I just go with the flow and didn't procrastinate too much as it's killing my melon, man ... this was the coloured image before and after ...

I just got all my fave colours out and random stamps which just happened to be the nearest to hand which were all my textures from Premium Art Brands and threw it all on. I did actually spritz and seal between layers but because I was rushing they did get very muddied and I used a lot of yellow ochre pan pastel, (which I don't normally do). Not what I was aiming for at all but this was pizza journaling after all ...!

I just ripped the image off the paper and glued it down with photo glue then applied all the Pan Pastel colours around it, using a Versamark inkpad to overstamp - love using Versamark ink as they just stick to the Pan Pastels like glue and make it so vibrant...

A bit of doodling to finish off using a black Graph'It marker which will go over virtually anything and the must have Graph'It White Shake marker and voila ...

WOWsers, I'm sure you will all agree that that is one fabulous journal page and unless you were told, wouldn't believe that it was a digi image and not a stamped one.

We'd love it if you became a follower of our challenge blog, not just to join in with the challenges ... which would be way cool by the way ... but to check out all the fabulous projects shared.

Happy crafting everyone and don't forget to pop over next week as the winners, plus top 3 will be announced for last months challenge. REMEMBER you still have time to enter this months challenge and all the details can be found HERE.

Before we go, what have you been making recently? Why not pop over to our Facebook page and share your projects with us - https://www.facebook.com/groups/love2create - we look forward to seeing you.

Back to our lovely Jan who's been a busy bee making not one but three stunning tags for us....

No automatic alt text available.

Jan has used some of the awesome Oddella images from the IckyInk collection at  Polkadoodles and the Absolute Vintage Clear Stamp set to make these tags, you can find links to them at the end of this post. Here's how Jan created these little beauties .....

I cut out three tag shapes onto watercolour card and printed off three of the lovely Oddella's that you can find in the Polkadoodles store here I coloured up the Oddella's using Polychromo Pencils in shades of grey and red I used Distress Oxides on the tags mainly Iced Spruce with some splashes of Black soot. Next came the stamps I used Absolute Vintage Clear stamp set - stamping Cogs and clocks randomly. I also used a few other stamps for the circles and lines. I also had a play with a few masks. Added a little red paint to the top of each one and let it run down the tag. I lastly added a few different size sequins and a sentiment to each one The sentiments have a brush of fired brick distress ink and finished off with a little doodle

Now let's find out a little more about the lovely lady herself .....

Hi , I am Scatty Jan, the only photo's I have of me are selfies with my Granddaughter (always silly ones too) ~I started crafting 7 years ago I started out by making a scrapbook, and after trawling the internet for ideas I found card making , colouring blah de blah. I was never really into crafts as a child so was very surprised how much of a hold this took . I really love to colour up , and after years of hiding from stamps I now adore them and they are one of my favourite crafting items ~ I also adore Distress Oxides. Nothing beats a fab craft session with my best friends (My portrait and My Granddaughter) xx
