Natalia - Nikky - Hello everyone! This week we have lots of new releases in store including these lovely MDF stacker trees...they're designed to stack together in a block making a lovely decoration for a window, shelf or mantelpiece, but you can also use them on cards, decorate tags and gifts with them, string them up or make larger decorations too - so versatile! I loved decorating these I had so many ideas I could have done with texture pastes, glitter and stenciling and decoupage!Just pop them out of the sheets. I love using Distress Oxides to decorate MDF - it's an acrylic base so it works really well and gives great coverage - and dries so much faster and better than paints! You can still distress the edges and use your stencil brushes too which makes it pretty much just like inking a piece of card! For this set I just inked with Kitsch Flamingo and let it dry, then I dry brushed some white acrylic paint across, catching the edges to distress it and give them a scandi feel. I have 2 trees glued together here which was the 4 largest ones in the kit, but it still left me with another 12 to use on other projects! These are about 7" tall. I added gold paint to the 2nd one and then just added some die cuts. They're glued together so it makes a lovely chunky decoration like the ones you'd find in a home shop that would cost £10-£15!! Great gift and as you get so many trees in the pack you could easily sell these at craft fairs as well and actually make a profit! Shop the MDF stacker trees here and have a go...

Bea - I love mixed media so I also had a play with the lovely MDF products from Polkadoodles crafting. These boards & tags are absolutely fabulous for creating home decor pieces with lots of layers. Perfect for your wall, bookcase or to give as gifts. I have given this one to a young lady going through stressful exams! The background has texture paste through the Boho Blooms stencil, coloured with ink and drybrushed with white paint to soften it. For the layers I used the hearts & foliage from the Hearts & Flowers mdf pack (decorated with paint, texture paste and gilding flakes) then added the beautiful flowers & leaves from the Delicate Daisy die set. Finally, I added a few gemstones, a bit of lace from my stash and a sentiment from the Sentiment Strip stamps, then a few white paint splatters completed the piece. I like this because it is mixed media but not grungy. Products available from : https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/
Bev - Hi everyone! I created this lovely Summer Garden Planter using various PD products and dies.Products Used :• Daisy daisy paper pad • Stencils : perfect poppies dash lines • Dies: daisy flower dies, big hello, leafy fronds. • Mdf: large scallop board, centre of small scallop frame.I coated the large scallop board with cream acrylic paint, then using the perfect poppies dash lines stencil on its side, inked through with brown ink, overlapping as I went and then rotating it in the opposite direction to give a trellis effect.I covered the small scallop frame centre board with paper and used a couple of strips of cardboard to make the sides and bottom to give a 3d effect and assembled the pieces to make the planterI cut a variety of flowers and leaves and coloured them with acrylic markers, these where then placed in the planter at various heights. I finished the project using the hello die and made drop shadow using some of the paper pad. Hope you like it! Follow me on Facebook here.
Ana - Hello crafty friends! This week’s Digi Choosday Design Team theme is “Get Organised for Christmas!” and I created a cute Christmas Essentials Mini Caddy to keep all my gift wrapping supplies together. It’s just the right size for glue, tape, Christmas tags, ribbons, and other festive essentials, making it easy to grab and bring wherever you’re wrapping presents.
To decorate my caddy, I used the super cute Candy Fun Christmas Gingerbread Cookie Digi Stamp, colored with Ohuhu markers, and paired it with the beautiful Gingerbread Holly Papers 2 collection from Polkadoodles.
If you’d like to recreate this project, head over to my blog where I share how I made it, along with all the details. I hope this project inspires you to get organised for the holiday season!

Liz - Hello! Here is a card I've created using the gorgeous Sparkling Christmas release from Polkadoodles. I used the Merry and Bright text stencil on the base card, then went over with distress oxide inks, using tones of colour to match in with the coloured cardstock I have in my stash, I used one of the coloured card stock to create a layer behind as a mat. I die cut a few layers of the main Sweet Glass Dome dies shape to create depth, adhered them together layering the up, then added some acetate beneath the top layer.
The scene inside is made up with part of the die set, then I simply added some light weight flakes from my stash as faux snow. The fabulous Elegant 25 December is another die set too - I only used the text die as it has a border die to match.
🌟 Gorgeous Inspiration, big thanks to the team!
