So let's find out what the Design Team have made this month!...

Corry Hey there crafters.   This time I have made a card with the beautiful flower stamp pretty perfect...For the background I used distress inks and different stamps....At first I stamped the flower on the card.  I blended the leaves with chlorine bleach. After that, I stamped the flower again - I have colored the flowers and butterflies and then I cut it out and glued them on the card. Finally, I placed some glitter on the flower and butterflies...

Terry: Hi there, This time I made a couple of Art Journal Pages, just love to play around with stamps on the background, started with Distress inks, after that I played with all kinds of smaller stamps, from the Honey Daisy, Stampsoup Lemonade Fizz, Texture Gallore, Lavender Tea, Making Faces, Papillon. Bella Fleur, Regal Peacock and Funky Alphabet Stampset, stamped the girls on both pages and colored them with pencils and with inks. With a stencil I placed the swirls and used Modelling Paste for it and mixed orange acrylic paint in with it. And last but not least I stamped some sentiments on the art journal pages.

Irmelin: Hi everyone. Today I'm sharing a canvas I've made with one of the many digital stamps that are in the store. The one I chose was from the Stick & Bones collection. I colored this one with Copic Sketch. The colored image I glued to one canvas and started to add elements. I added fiberglass tape, wood bits from the canvas, string, and branches. I also made a mixture of art stones and glue that I adhered to the canvas. I colored the canvas with ink sprays and decorated with flowers. Finally, I added a title. Hope you will enjoy my project this month!

Jane – I love my art journals at the moment and played with my A6 version today. I used glitter pens and watercolours to create a crazy coloured background and added lots of lovely Stamp Soup stamps for interest.
The focal point is one of the stunning Oddella digis coloured with pencils.

Here's the products the team used...

Gorgeous projects as always!

Terry: So this time I made a little something WITHOUT a butterfly lol....can you believe it? Anyways, I made a little notebook or I altered a notebook. I worked my way from a plain notebook to a colored one with the use of PanPastels, Gesso, Light Modelling Paste, Iridescent Paste, a stencil with flowers and some sentiments.

Lou: I am so in love with the Belle Papillion and Bella Fleur stamps from Polkadoodles that I couldn't resist using them again. I have stamped the images either in grey or clear and then coloured everything with my pan pastels. All die cuts were also coloured with pan pastels too. I have even made my background the same way. More photos are on my blog.

A NEW CHALLENGE #6, WINNERS ANDDDD A DT CALL!!!!!

Good morning crafty friends, I hope you're having a lovely creative weekend! We've got a new challenge starting and we've also got a DT CALL as we're looking for some new teamies to join our creative adventures!

We're a wee bit thin on the ground and our lovely Alysha is a very busy bee so she is taking a short break from DT duties. We'll miss her very much but hopefully she'll be back before too long.As a result we're looking for new teamies to join us. You don't have to be an expert with PanPastels as we want a diverse mix of crafters in our team, in fact quite a few of us had never used Pans until we joined. We do need people who are reliable, creative and enjoy creating mixed media projects. We will provide you with products to play with and in return we're asking for crafters who are happy to:

  • create a new project every two weeks using our products (occasionally we may ask for additional physical projects if we need samples for TV shows etc)
  • Post your project on your personal blog
  • Comment on challenge entries (we have a comment rota to share this between the team)
  • participate in our facebook group and also the DT facebook group

IF you'd like to be considered for a place on the team , please just add DT after your entry to this challenge! We'll be in touch with successful  applicants in early April!! Good luck everyone!!

Right back to our new challenge,  let's see what beautiful makes our DT have created this week...

Claire C PanPastels are perfect for a quick scenic card as they blend so easily, especially with the colourless blender. I've used  my PanPastels to create the background before stamping the images and adding some colour with my PanPastels and Lyra pencils

Here are the colours I've used to make this card:

Lou: I decided to use my pan pastels to help stamp and colour all my images, create backgrounds, and finally to also soften the edges of all papers. Full details and more photos can be found on my blog.

Terry, Hey there crafters I had loads of fun making this Spring Canvas, playing with lots of different spring colors and I made the background with lots of PanPastels. After the first layer I thought I would work with the fabulous Stencil A5 Victorian style. It is just amazing to play with this stencil. I sprayed water on top and made sure the stencil would show after I finished playing with PanPastels. Than I placed the stencil again on my canvas and played with some crackle. Next I rubbed the PanPastels on the background that was created with the stencil and this gave such a nice effect. Since I am just in love with butterflies I colored a large butterfly with PanPastels and placed it in the centre of the canvas. Last but not least a few sentiments were glued onto the canvas.

Products that I have worked with are:
