Doreen
I have used PanPastels for both my background and image I started with a piece of white card and just sponged over with Magenta, after sealing I then stamped my image with Achival ink and using a fine damp paintbrush started colouring my image with Panpastels. I then sealed it again then stamped my words and drew in the frames.xxx
Terry I had fun altering a photoframe. The background was made with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and the Roses stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. I worked with the NEW Pearlescent PanPastels, this time I played with the Green and Violet colours. I finished the background by playing with 3D accents to give the roses a nicer look. On top I placed some butterflies which I colored with the Violet Pearlescent Pans and to finish I painted Irisdescent paste all over it. The frame itself is dabbed with the Pearlescent PanPastels and in the corners I played with the Burlap Dutch Doobadoo Stencil. To finish my frame I used the White COARSE Pearl Medium PanPastel.
Anjie - I stamped a large butterfly stamp in white ink and embossed in white on black card. I then used the red, blue and yellow pearl Panpastels to colour the image in. I then embossed a frame on black card and used a Versamark ink pad over the embossing and then went over it with the yellow pearl Panpastel and it really makes it pop. It's so hard to get a good photo of the effect it gives, but believe me it is really nice!
Claire C I've altered a collage frame using Maimeri White Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and a few different shades of PanPastels, including some of the gorgeous new Pearlescent PanPastels. I've stamped my seaside scene and added colour with PanPastels and Graph'It Markers. I used the new 'Colourless Blender' PanPastel to create the sky, oh my goodness this is going to be so useful - it really allows you to blend without losing the clarity of the colour. I added some Maimeri Glassy Gel to the waves and sprinkled with glass glitter and then I added some 'sand' around the scene with more Light Modelling Paste and PanPastel
Lou: I have framed my sentiment this week as have been dying for an excuse to use this die. All elements have been coloured with mainly magenta pan pastel (except the bird who had a touch of orange) for a very monochromatic card from me.
