Irre: Hello everyone. It's February, and with that, it soon will be Valentine's day. So for this month, I've made a Valentine's day card in brown tones.

I used papers from the Creative Doodles "Colour me" and from the Vintage & Ephemera collections. For the background paper, I also colored it in with a sparkly ink spray and wax paint.

Have a lovely February!

I used  a little Bronze Guilding wax over. On some black card stock I stamped using Distress inks. I finished off making some stars I used texture paste through a stencil , the used black gesso and again finishing off with guilding wax....

Terry For this month's challenge I have worked with bright colors, I played with different colors for the background and stamped with Distress Inks. I wanted to create a flowerarrangement with different clearstampsets. One of them is the Stamp Soup Regal Peacock, this set is really wonderfull to create your own flowers. On top of the flowers I have played with Accents to give the flowers a bit of 3D effect. Last but not least I placed the Sending Special Wished sentiment.

Congratulations ladies!! Your projects are stunning

We didn't want to leave you too long without any inspiration so our lovely teamie Terry has created a beautiful project for you this week, check out her blog if you get chance as she is a super creative lady!!

Terry: I have worked on a photoframe for a little inspiration for you this week. The backgrounds first layer was made with Gesso....I used a couple of stencils to work on the background. For that I used Light Modelling Paste and Crackle to go on top. I love how the flowers turned out. I played a little bit with the Metallic PanPastels and painted the frame with a layer of Interference Fluid and Antiquing Creme. Than rubbed with a babywipe and there ya go the background stayed a bit darker with the Metallic colour and the Flowers and the top of the frame came out a bit whiter. Last but not least I stamped an image of a family and placed the sentiment Forever Us, since family is the most important thing in the world. Hope I am giving you some inspiration with my project.

Thanks Terry, we love your beautiful project!!
Don't forget do pop back on 24th for our brand new challenge!!
Happy Crafting

Terry: I had fun making this card, sounds a bit strange because it is a card that you sent to someone when a loved one has passed but still..I had fun making this card. And you can use this card for many other occasions offcourse...The background is made with a layer of gesso, a bunch of panpastels mixed with water. When you play with PanPastels and water the colours mix so pretty all over your card or piece of paper that you are working with. So I used purple, orange and red. When the background dried up I stamped an image on it and last but not least I stamped a sentiment on my card.

I worked with the following products:

I worked my way from a plain notebook to a colored one with the use of PanPastels, Gesso, Light Modelling Paste, Iridescent Paste, a stencil with flowers and some sentiments.

Lou: I am so in love with the Belle Papillion and Bella Fleur stamps from Polkadoodles that I couldn't resist using them again. I have stamped the images either in grey or clear and then coloured everything with my pan pastels. All die cuts were also coloured with pan pastels too. I have even made my background the same way.
