How to make a beautiful mixed media style Happy Christmas Wreath with Penguins & snowflakes using MDF craft blanks, stencils and texture paste...
Natalia - Hello! I LOVE all the new MDF releases for Christmas, we have so many this year it's been difficult choosing what to make first! All of them are really versatile to use, I love that these kits are not rigid in what you can make with them. Nikky always designs them for lots of uses and so that there are lots of parts left over for extra projects.
In this make, I combined the WINTER JOY MDF craft blanks kit with the HAPPY CHRISTMAS Birds MDF kit. The wreath, penguins and snowflakes aer from Winter Joy and is a full 12" so huge - and the Happy Christmas words are from the Birds kit. I added the Snowman hat above the 3 penguins and a ribbon around it. For the background I used a piece of card to cover the back of the wreath and added lots of inks and stencil paste using the new Chilly Stencil Set (5 stencils, all must-haves!). Hope you like it!

Hello everyone! I decorated this beautiful MDF wreath blank from the latest Christmas releases - there are some stunning kits in the store so make sure you check them out. If you need to sell at fairs etc you can do that as long as you make the project! The Winter Joy Wreath Kit comes with SO many bits and pieces you can make loads of projects with this, not just this wreath, It includes gorgeous Snowflake tags, and lots of bits to decorate with. And you will have loads of pieces left to add to cards and tags etc. I added a back board made from card and then decorated this one with Blue acrylic paints and texture paste with the Snowy Baubles stencil, then added the MDF words that are in the kit. The Moose is the new Merry Moosemas dies and Ho Ho Secret Santa dies. All of these are in the new Snow & Sparkles collection!

Liz - Today I'm sharing an MDF project I made using the brand new Merry & Bright Wonky House MDF kit which is part of the newest Snow & Sparkles Christmas release which launched this week on Hobbymaker TV. This kit is fab! There are so many pieces and it's really versatile, you can either use it as a decoration or make it into a journal cover or add all the pieces to other things like cards and signs. I loved making this, it's just my style - wonky LOL!
How to make this Beautiful Autumn Leaves Card by Rachael...
Hello! Rachael here, sharing one of the cutest images from our latest Winne release using the super sweet wishes in the wind stamp. I wanted the image to be the star of the show so I printed it onto a card panel slightly smaller than A6 size and coloured it with a combination of markers and pencils for detail. Don't be put off by the colouring; there is detail showing where you can shade, or if colouring isn't your thing - there are pre-printed images you can use. I finished it with a sentiment and stamp from my stash. Perfect for an autumn birthday, or even just to say 'hello'
Liz - The weather has turned cooler so time to craft! Christmas is coming so I created a star shaped card, then decorated it with the fabulous Sparkling wreath and stars dies. I die cut it out of gold mirri card, even though the die is so fine and it cut so well first time through the mirri card.
On the kraft card base I added some stars with the Night stars stencil using some of the fabulous Sunbeam Shimmer stencil butter/. Once it was dry I built up the card using the wreath and the Sweet Poinsettia die which I cut from white mixed media cardstock, sprayed with festive berries oxide distress spray, then highlighted areas when dry with Lumberjack Plaid oxide distress ink. I adhered this in place on my card, simply adding some of the Winter Botanical Bits dies here and there around the Poinsettia, to create a classic looking Christmas card.
Liz - I created this using one of the fabulous MDF trees from the Create and Decorate Christmas MDF Stacker Tree blanks kit.
I painted the tree with a cream coloured acrylic paint and then when it was dry lightly sanded it back here and there to distress a little. I kept the NOEL in it's natural colour which is also part of the kit - it's huge, you get a ton of MDF so if you love having bits and pieces to decorate it's a must have buy (and an amazing price for what you get too!) I created a floral arrangement as a focal point along with a die which I cut down for the top using these dies which have been my go to's on my desk so far this year, they're all so useful I can't stop using them:
Rachael - I created this Autumn themed card using the new EVERY SEASON TREE/BRANCH die set which is part of the new Snow & Sparkles collection. SO useful! The trunk is separated so you can add leaves, snowflakes or flowers wherever you want - and it means you can also add leaves you have from other dies or stamps etc too. I created an inky orange and red background and then cut a rectangle for the back panel. In the leftover bits I then die cut lots of leaves - I love how the colour came out. I finished it off with one of my favourite dies - this big Hello. I like how it has a really lovely Mixed media feel but was actually really easy - and clean (I don't do mess!) - to make.
Natalia - I made this card using the new Snow & Sparkles collection. I used the Snowy Greetings Stamp set to make this quick and easy card. I stamped the poinsettia collage and then coloured it in blocks of yellow blue and pink, then cut it in half. I added a die cut edge from my stash. I stenciled the green background using the Is it Snowing stencil and overstamped with the postmarks and a couple of other stamps in the same set.

I love the colours this time of the year so I used one of these great journal book/folio covers to create a decorated house. I added some texture with a brick/stone stencil, then painted over with some acrylic paint and sanded back parts for more texture once it was dry. The toadstools are part of the MDF kit and again, I painted them with acrylic paints. I added some die cut leaves from the Winter Botanicals Bits dies which are amazing, added some enamel Polkadot embellishments and a little moss from my stash. I used the Chamomile flower dies to create the flower near the window along with some stuff from my stash.
