As always, lot's going on here, so let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!
Nikky - Hi there! Are you all sorted for Christmas or not started yet like me? These brand new gorgeous MDF lanterns make a great gift, item to sell at a craft fayre or just a home decoration and they are really easy to put together, I had a lot of fun adding different finishes to these. These come either separate or in a pack of 3 and are amazing value - they're lifesize!
This medium size lantern was just painted with white gesso and I added a bit of Salvaged Patina Distress oxide to give it a hue and just shoved some faux foliage inside, it was all made and glued in about 15 minutes and waiting to dry...
For the small size lantern I just painted in a festive red and then added some of my Snowtex paste for snow and rubbed some metallic waxes on the edges - it really gives it a nice oxidised look that doesn't really come through on the photos...
Jane– Hi again! this week I've been using the cute Freddy Fox collection along with the Latte dies – I'm liking this colour combo I think I might need to use this one again! See you next time!
Rosanna - Hello creative friends! For my project this Saturday, I wanted to make two tags. I don't make them often, even though they are quick, useful and fun. I imagined these on top of a birthday gift package. I used an adorable digital stamp, Scruff the dog Cupcake, who is an adorable big dog.
Two tags, therefore two dogs coloured differently, again with Copic markers. For the lighter one, I used the codes E34 - E31- E51 and for the darker dog, I used E44 E43 E34 E 30. The rest of the colours are up to your imagination, but I hope I have been helpful in quickly deciding on the right colours. For the tags, I used a sheet of corrugated Kraft card and a tree die cut on the back (we all have at least one, right?). The sentiment “Hugs and Kisses” is made with a die cut and coloured card.
I hope you like it. Lots of big hugs x
KM - Hi crafty friends! Today’s project is a colorful birthday memory dex card featuring Rebel Birthday Cake digital stamp and a cheerful sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Fairy Everyday Greetings collection. For the background, I used glossy acrylic sprays from Dina Wakly and added stitched-like borders using Ohuhu acrylic pen. I then colored Rebel using Ohuhu Pupe markers and Ohuhu glitter pen for her crown. With bright fun colors and that sassy Rebel vibe, this mini card reminds me that every birthday deserves to be remembered with sparkles and creativity!
Nikky - Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this MDF project using our new Floral Tree MDF kit! I love this, it's so pretty! It measures about 30cm/12" tall and you get cute little baubles and snowflakes to add to it for decorations. I like to think it would be super cute to add names on the baubles so you could put the whole family on there, but I'd also love to see it with little photos of everyone too so it could be like a family tree. This is DEFINITELY not just for christmas time decorations - make it different colours and it's a year round family tree that can stay on the window...
Thanks so much to the team for their GORGEOUS inspiration this week!
