Cozy Christmas new release

As always, lot's going on here, so let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!

Nikky - Hi there! Are you all sorted for Christmas or not started yet like me? These brand new gorgeous MDF lanterns make a great gift, item to sell at a craft fayre or just a home decoration and they are really easy to put together, I had a lot of fun adding different finishes to these.  These come either separate or in a pack of 3 and are amazing value - they're lifesize!

This medium size lantern was just painted with white gesso and I added a bit of Salvaged Patina Distress oxide to give it a hue and just shoved some faux foliage inside, it was all made and glued in about 15 minutes and waiting to dry...

For the small size lantern I just painted in a festive red and then added some of my Snowtex paste for snow and rubbed some metallic waxes on the edges - it really gives it a nice oxidised look that doesn't really come through on the photos...

Finally, on the Large lantern I went all out and added lots of gold and silver waxes to make it look like metal - it really works in real life! Of course, this is wood so no naked flames but they look so pretty lit up with a few rice lights - these will be around my tree this Christmas!

Jane– Hi again! this week I've been using the cute Freddy Fox collection along with the Latte dies – I'm liking this colour combo I think I might need to use this one again! See you next time!

Rosanna
 - Hello creative friends! For my project this Saturday, I wanted to make two tags. I don't make them often, even though they are quick, useful and fun. I imagined these on top of a birthday gift package. I used an adorable digital stamp, Scruff the dog Cupcake, who is an adorable big dog.
Two tags, therefore two dogs coloured differently, again with Copic markers. For the lighter one, I used the codes E34 - E31- E51 and for the darker dog, I used E44 E43 E34 E 30. The rest of the colours are up to your imagination, but I hope I have been helpful in quickly deciding on the right colours. For the tags, I used a sheet of corrugated Kraft card and a tree die cut on the back (we all have at least one, right?). The sentiment “Hugs and Kisses” is made with a die cut and coloured card.
I hope you like it. Lots of big hugs x

KM - Hi crafty friends! Today’s project is a colorful birthday memory dex card featuring Rebel Birthday Cake digital stamp and a cheerful sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Fairy Everyday Greetings collection. For the background, I used glossy acrylic sprays from Dina Wakly and added stitched-like borders using Ohuhu acrylic pen. I then colored Rebel using Ohuhu Pupe markers and Ohuhu glitter pen for her crown. With bright fun colors and that sassy Rebel vibe, this mini card reminds me that every birthday deserves to be remembered with sparkles and creativity!

Nikky
- Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this MDF project using our new Floral Tree MDF kit! I love this, it's so pretty! It measures about 30cm/12" tall and you get cute little baubles and snowflakes to add to it for decorations. I like to think it would be super cute to add names on the baubles so you could put the whole family on there, but I'd also love to see it with little photos of everyone too so it could be like a family tree. This is DEFINITELY not just for christmas time decorations - make it different colours and it's a year round family tree that can stay on the window...

Thanks so much to the team for their GORGEOUS inspiration this week!

Check out our new Halloween/Autumn digi release - it's amazing!

As always, lot's going on here, so let's see the inspiration from the team for this week!

Rachael - Hi everyone! Today is World Cardmaking Day so I'm here with some inspiration for a card I love..I made this with ONLY stencils - the Winter foliage Layering Stencils, and I really love this colour combination.  I inked the layers and then when I added the holly berries I wenst over the top with a black and a white fineliner pen to add the berry tips and the highlights - I love how the berries pop off the card.  What I love most is that by changing colours with inks this stencil is an all year rounder and I've used it so many times on my backgrounds right through this year! I hope you have an amazing World Cardmaking Day and create something fabulous!

Rosanna - Hello everyone, I'm Rosanna and I'm a new member of this wonderful DT that I admire so much. You are all so talented and I wanted to share my first project with this group of talented artists. I used the Matilda Witch Halloween digital stamp. I coloured the background with black Distress Oxide and a cloud-shaped stencil. The little witch is coloured with Copic alcohol markers. Then, I added grass in the background, silver threads, cobwebs, bats, stars and... anything else your imagination suggests to create a monstrous and sweet card, just like the face of this little witch who goes out with her bag, as all elegant witches do 😊

Halloween is in the house! We are all in LOVE with this grungey new Halloween release which is just up your street if you love anything mixed media at all!

Have you seen all our latest new releases?
If you love decorating and making mixed media projects with ephemera and chipboard etc you have to check out all our latest MDF kits and stencil butters - they're GORGE!

Rachael - Hello crafty peeps! Today I'm sharing this card I made for a gardener in the family. I used the great Garden Tools dies and Chicken wire texture sheets to create a simple card that is perfect for a him or a her - all from the Summer Garden collection, make sure you check it out on the website!

Julie - It’s late August, and it’s sunflowers with bees buzzing - which fits in perfectly with my passion for creating journals and all that go with them. And so this tag came to be using layers of papers and embellies from Polkadoodles Rose Bud Collection (this collection is a must) paired with a Blooms 3 floral image. Ink stenciling, bits of lace. and a touch of splatter create a backdrop for a popped up bee & floral blossom. Full details to create this project can be found on my Blog. My InstagramFacebook

Martine - Did you know that witches are have to go to school as well? So i made this notebook.
I used Ravella Witch and used some Halloween papers as well : Halloween Trick or Treat paper bundle 1 . Then I put on a broomstick { it's from Tim Holtz} , a big black paperclip and some black mosquito netting...which is very handy for this kind of occasion.

Ana - This notebook is one of my favorites so far! I used a detailed Science Girl Polkadoodles digi stamp, printed large for extra impact, and colored it with Ohuhu markers. The cover from the Happy Cactus Succulent collection, paired with solid cardstock for the spine. For the pages, I cut standard 80gsm A4 paper in half using my trusty Cutterpillar Pro. Everything is bound using my thermal cinch, which gives it a neat, book-like finish—perfect for stacking. I finished the cover with the colored digi and a cute Polkadoodles Work and Play Design Sheet for a little extra cutesy fun. It’s simple, colorful, and functional—wish I had these skills of notebook making and cutesyfy-ing back when I was still in school! Kerri - This is a card I made using the set Hello Pretty. I stamped the images onto card stock colored them with Prisma Pencils. The background was done with a stencil and glitter paste. The die cut Hello was used I cut it twice to make it thicker..

Wendy - I made this card using this lovely stamp set called Hearts & Flowers. I used printable backing paper from the Flower Meadow download bundle inside and out and then stenciled over it with the Wildflower Meadow stencil which is just gorgeous. I then just stamped and coloured these lush butterflies and popped them on the pop up!

Ana - Hi everyone! This week for Digi Choosday, I created a bright and cheerful card featuring Polkadoodles’ Female Painter digi stamp, colored with alcohol markers. I paired it with a rainbow watercolor background, epoxy stickers, and sentiments that say “you paint my world happy” and “thank you”—a little tribute to the people who bring color and joy into our lives. I had so much fun making this, especially getting to play with watercolor and use my label maker - something I rarely bring out and use but always love. Don’t forget to join the Digi Choosday challenge and check out the other amazing DT creations. You can find more of my crafty projects on Instagram, @my.cat.and.crafts and Facebook, My Cat and Crafts.

Wendy - Hello and happy Digi Choosday everyone. I hope the week is going well for you.
Today I've got a little decorating card to inspire you to join in with the challenge. I've used the super new Painting and Decorating bundle to create my fun card today, using one of the sentiments, a paper, pre-coloured ephemera and the sweet little decorator boy coloured with promarkers. He looks like he's having fun getting that wallpaper to stay on the wall....we've all been there I'm sure.... LOL. Anyway have a fantastic week. Love and crafty hugs from Wendy J x

Rachael - Hi everyone! I've made this flowery 'just because' card this week using the
Hello Pretty Flowers stamps - I love these stamps, they're so easy to use! I've stamped these onto the patterned papers from the Pretty Colourful A4/8.5x11" paper pack - no colouring required from me! Even the background is from the paper pack, gorgeous to create this look so easily.

Beautiful inspiration - we hope you loved these makes!
