Good morning everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope you all had great fun bringing in 2018, whether that was partying or even creating. As it's the start of a new year, it means another new challenge at Love 2 Create. A big thank you to everyone who entered last month's challenge and winners, plus Top 3, will be announced on 14th January 2018.
There was a little confusion (from our end), over the winners for challenges #1 & #2 and we thank you for your messages bringing this to our attention. Winners for both challenges have been announced, double checked and can be found HERE or on our 'Winners Page'.
The long winter evenings will slowly be getting lighter but they are still a great excuse to craft, so we hope you're going to join us for challenge #4. Our theme is easy peasy ...

Now let's check out the inspiration from our DT. As you can see our talented team have been busy working their mixed media magic for you .....
Terry:this time for your inspiration I made a Birthday Card. Clean and simple. I worked on the background with Distress Oxides and splashed water all over it this way the colors mix all together. Usually I work with brighter colors so this was a bit out of my comfortzone. After I dried the background with my heattool I Stamped with red ink. I used the butterflies from Nikky's stampset Bella Fleur A5 large Clear Stampset. I just love butterflies. I colored them with Panpastels and the toplayer I used is crackle accents. Last but not least I placed a happy birthday sentiment and colored them with distress inks.
I worked with these products:
Gemma: I made this beautiful box and notebook for a friend, the box is an MDF blank and the notebook was made form scratch. All the stunning papers used to decorate both are from the Polkadoodles Beau Paperie 6x6 craft paper pack.
Lou: I've decided to play with Odella Twig digi image from Polkadoodles to create a tag. Odella has been coloured with pencils but then I have triple embossed here adding additional coloured embossing powder to each layer. I was trying to go for a more aged look ...
We're all waiting here eagerly at Love 2 Create to see what you have created, so please link up below ...
