Check this out....isn't it just fabbbbbbb.....

Terry: Remember the first stage of my project .....
yep I worked with Stampbord and played with the wonderfull clearstampset from Nikky, colored the background of the stampbord with pearlescent pans and pans, some leaves were stamped on it. And now I am in stage 2 of my project, I got this wooden flower and thought the butterfly would fit perfectly. So worked on the background of the flower with Gesso and Light Modelling paste, used a stencil from DD and played with the leaves from Nikky's stampset STOP, they have such fab background stamps on it. I played with Pearlescent and some pearls, hearts that I made out of an empty board. Finished it all by painting the Gel Medium on top and my Project is finished.

Yvonne - A quick card made with "pastel" shades of Panpastels.  All the details of this card you will find on my blog.  See you there!!!

Claire C I'm getting ahead with a Christmassy project using my PanPastels, Pearl Mediums and Stampbord. You can find all the details on my blog

I had loads of fun adding details to my project using the fabby Stampbord Scraper Tools

Lou: I was inspired to also my a "window on the world" using lots of wood, stampbord, pan pastels and Premium Craft Brand stamps. If you pop over to my blog, you will see lots of additional step by step photos.

Thanks for visiting today, we'll be back next week with another fab challenge!!

  1. Well done to the winners and what lovely DT work this week....gorgeous projects. Have a crafty bank holiday everyone xWell done to the lu

  2. Ooo thank you very much, congrats to Giogio and Rachel x

  3. Sorry a bit confused, we are now on week 2 of challenge 9 - so this is the reminder week for inspiration, so why is there another linky & submission area, do we need to use both? Or is there another challenge, i.e. No.10?

    1. The links on the inspiration post direct you to where you can add your project for the current challenge, which is still challenge nine. We use the links to help speed the process of joining in the challenge so that you do not need to hunt down where to enter. Hope that helps, Lou

    2. Thanks for reply; but I still can't find challenge 9, particularly after 10 was published yesterday 10th May. The sequencing seems to miss 9 out - has it been hidden or reverted to draft?

    3. Opps can see it in APRIL'S folder - but Challenge 8 is in MAY'S - hence the confusion

    4. Huny, the challenges run over two weeks; 1st week starts the challenge and 2nd week is an inspiration post for the same challenge theme. The winners are announced in the inspiration post. Challenge #9 began on 26.04.2015 and the inspiration post for challenge #9 was on 03.05.2015. In the latter post (03.05.2015), the winners from challenge #8 were announced and that is why it would appear that challenge #8 was in May whilst challenge #9 was in April. Hope that clarifies the situation further but please email us if you require further information. Lou

  4. Wowzer! I am so glad you entered your work at Open-Minded Crafting Shabby Chic challenge as I love Pan Pastels and never knew about this site. I'm a new follower. Your project is stunning and I can't wait to learn more! Good luck on your entry!

  5. So happy to see it wasn't only me getting confused with the challenges and the bonus is that I was able to enter my recent creation!
Thanks for an awesome challenge and the fantastic inspirations we see throughout the month Karen
