Right then, onto this weeks inspiration from the DT, they've come up with some gorgeous makes again!! Don't forget you don't have to use PanPastels to enter the challenge and our lucky winner will receive some gorgeous goodies from those lovely folks at Premium Craft Brands!

Anjie - I started by stamping the background using the Vintage Scruffy Flowers stamp set. I then coloured all the flowers and background using the OrangeVioletpermanent red and permanent green Pan Pastels. I then added the white dots using the Graph'It Shake white pen. Next I stamped the girl and wings from the Art Girl stamp set onto white card and coloured them in using the the VioletOrangeNeutral Grey Extra DarkPaynes Grey Extra Dark and Black Pan Pastels. I then added the dots using the White Shake pen, and cut the images out. Finally I stamped the sentiment from the Leave A Little Sparkle stamp set.

Doreen-I have made my background with red and yellow Panpastels masking off the moon My images were then stamped with Black Archival and  I used an eraser to rub out the PanPastel on the larger flowers then coloured with purple PanPastel.xxx

Yvonne - A Halloween Sunset.  More details can be found on my blog.

Claire C I've made a little tag using Halloween colours. I was experimenting with Maimieri Glassy Gel medium for the background and discovered that it works beautifully mixed with PanPastels to create a gorgeous glossy raised effect when you stencil with it!. You can find all the details on my blog.

Terry I had lots of fun with altering a canvas and started out with gesso and worked for the background with the metall tool to make scratches on the canvas. On top of them I played with the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and the A4 Butterfly stencil from Premium Craft Brands, but did not use the butterfly but only the Huge Roses.....when the background was dried up I played with the Purple, Orange Pearlescent Pans and the Metallic, White COARSE and Purple Pans to give the Roses some colour. And last but not least I placed a wooden window in the middle of the canvas and placed a butterfly in the middle which I colored with the Pearlescent Pans and topped it off with Glossy Accents.

Halloween Colours

Good morning and welcome to a brand new challenge!! Our theme for the next two weeks is

'Halloween Colours'
so you don't have to make a Halloween project as long as you use a halloweeny colour palette so we want to see purples, greens oranges and black!!

You don't have to use PanPastels to play along but we love it when you do!
Our lucky winner will receive a fabby prize from our generous sponsors at
one lucky crafter will receive a mask and a PanPastel (colours may vary) so don't miss out on your chance to win!!

Now lets check out the gorgeous projects from the DT:

Yvonne - I've used  my favourite linen effect card again for this tag.  All details can be found over on my blog.

Doreen- Hello to you all, I am sharing a bit of mixed media today. I have made a wall plaque using a canvas board. Full details of how this was made is on my blog.

Nikky....I'm always the first to get new products and always seem to be the last to get to try them out but I made this at a demo day in Preston a couple of weeks ago and sometimes the really simple things are the ones you like most. This was the first time I got to properly try out the Pearlescent Pan Pastels....
I just used Versamark through the Tree mask, added some Black Coarse Sparkle Medium (*swoon*) and then layered the purple pearl pan together with a tiny touch of metallic silver...

Claire C I've made a quick and easy autumn scene using Halloween colours. This was a really quick card, I just applied the pearl PanPastel in bands across the white cardstock and then lightly applied the Black pearl medium around the edges for a misty effect. Then I stamped the images with dye inks and matted the scene on some black card

Tracy - Witches, Goblins and Ghosts oh my! I adore Halloween and was over the moon with the theme for this weeks challenge.
Out came a chunk of wood and a pencil to start my sketch before . . .

. . . grabbing a few Spooktacular coloured Pan Pastels, Pearl Mediums, cheap hairspray { fixes each colour of Pan Pastel } fine black liner pen, stamps and a Clearsnap Smooch Ink.

Terry, I had loads of fun working on a canvas. For the background I worked and played with Gesso and Light Modelling Paste with the Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. The background is colored with Black COARSE panpastel. on top f that I played with the Orange, Purple and different kinds of Panpastels. The butterflies are colored with he Pearlescent Panpastels and on top a bit of crackle

Lou: I decided to make a "tongue in cheek" Halloween inspired card this week and had great fun colouring everything on my card with pan pastels. Full details are on my blog ....
