I found a stamp I have had for ages and thought it was just right for this challenge... My background has been made using Phthalo Blue,Turquoise and White PanPastels leaving a gap where I wanted to place the stamp...I then stamped my image and coloured with Distress Inks then added the sentiment.xxx

On my card the image is from the fabulous Work & Play collection 4 and is coloured with my Graph'It Markers. The papers are from the Dollie Daydream Goes East CD and the Sugarplum Daisy CD. The beach hut and postcard are both Tattered Lace Dies. The sentiment, swirls and hearts are all from the Premium Craft Brands Postcard Stamp Set. I have distressed the edges of the papers, die cuts, sentiment, swirls and image with the Violet Pan Pastel. Finally I added some faux stitching around the edges.

Terry, I made and had lots of fun with a Canvas, I am celebrating life with the butterflies on a background made with the fabby Roses stencil from DD and lots of Gesso, Acrylic Paints, Iridescent Paste. The butterflies are colored with PanPastels and even Metallic Pans are used. The large butterfly is from Nikky her Clearstamp set. To cover the whole canvas I used the Iridescent Paste.

Claire C  I've used one of the gorgeous masks from Premium Craft Brands for the focal image on my card. I inked the mask with versamark, embossed it through my Grand Calibur and added colour with PanPastels before stamping fairies and foliage around the edges

  3. Thank you for visiting my blog Yvonne. I try to enter the challenges offered here whenever I can, however, I am disappointed that my 60X60cm reverse canvas was described as a pretty card!!!
I am on a number of DT's and I understand that visiting and commenting on blogs is time consuming. I know from ladies who have just started to share their work that positives and comments can fuel and ignite the creative spirit adding to the joy that making and creating brings. Julie

    1. Thank you Julie for your comment and apologies on behalf of everyone on the DT is your canvas was mistaken for anything other than a beautifully decorated and adorned canvas. I can assure you and other crafters who enter our challenges, that each entry is relished and we adore visiting all your blogs. I am sure that Yvonne intended no offence in her comment and was very impressed (hence the positive comment) with your project. Again apologies on behalf of all the Pan Pastels DT for any upset this may have caused to you. We look forward to seeing your next project in the very near future.
