Special Feature - Making Embelishments using Rubber Stamps

Making Embellishments using Rubber stamps,  Maimeri Mediums and PanPastels: Tutorial by Claire

You can make some really fun embellishments for your projects using your rubber stamps with PanPastels and Maimeri Mediums.
  1. For this technique you will need: rubber stamp, stazon inkpad, Maimeri Iridescent Paste, PanPastels (I used Magenta Extra dark for this project), a spatula and a mixing pot.

 2. Put a little Maimeri Iridescent Medium into a mixing pot, use your spatula to scrape a little PanPastel in and mix with the spatula.

 3.       Ink up your rubber stamp with stazon ink and then scrape the mixture out and ‘blob’ it on to the  stamp:

4.       Spread the mixture over the surface of the stamp using the spatula, you should have a thick even layer of mix

Once again you have to have a little patience now, leave it for a couple of days to dry

5.       Once the mixture has dried, gently peel the embellishment off the stamp

The mixture will have dried to create a flexible embellishment so you can use it on 3d projects, it will also have picked up all the detail of the stamp
