As usual our DT have been busy this week, let's check out what they've been up to. We're also welcoming a very talented new teamie this week, give the lovely Katie a very warm welcome and if you have a min, pop over to her blog and check out her gorgeous artwork!

Nikky...Be gone, printed colouring books, you are a one-hit wonder! This is my favourite image from Florabunda, and I part coloured this with my adorable PanPastels of course!  I sent this image off to a Professional printer online and for a mere £12 (about $18?) I had this printed super huge at A2 Poster size which is 23.4 x 16.5" big - MASSIVE!
The Sofftt tools are truly amazing and you really MUST use them with your pastels - nothing else lays down the pigment in the same way - this looks really accomplished in the colouring but really all I did was sweep the colours on with the sponges and it kinda just happened on it's own! See more about this on my blog...

I have a journal page to share using Pan Pastels to create a background.
I used Phthalo Green and Turquoise on the background i then used a couple of stencil masks with Phthalo Blue to create the pattern.

I coloured the fairy in using a mixture of markers and Phthalo Green pastels. i sealed everything in using a gel medium. I used an alphabet stamp set to create the wording.

Lou: I decided to alter a frame I have had kicking around for ages. I covered the back piece with paper and then began building up the sides.

Next using raw umber and yellow ochre pan pastels, plus a little touch of yellow green, I covered the card sides. I set this with a mixture of water and gel medium. When dry, I used a stencil and irridescent paste to go over my base layer; which adds a real tectural feel to the frame. Once this was dry, I used fine white pearl on the top to add extra irridesence.

All my elements were also coloured with pan pastels in complimentary shades.

As always our very talented DT have been working their magic to create lots of inspiration for you but before we check their projects out we'd like to say farewell to the lovely Tracy Evans who has been created some amazing artwork. We're going to miss Tracy and her beautiful projects and wish her well for the future.

Tracy Scott - it's lovely to be here this week with you all. I love to mix my mediums together and play and experiment. This week I've been creating whimsy animals in my journal and playing with acrylic paints, pencils and my fabulous PanPastels. The pans just add the perfect finishing touch to every project.

Yvonne - for this Challenge I set myself a personal Challenge which was to only use things I had on my desk which were leftover from previous projects.  I started with a base which had been partly embossed through an embossing folder and then it had texture paste put through a stencil which had been left over from a card I'd made a couple of weeks ago.  The stems and flowers had mostly been stamped and coloured with ink but I added metallic panpastels which made them ping!!  A photo step by step is on my blog if you'd like to pop along to take a look.

Terry: I really had fun making a set of Candle holders for Christmas....I just love altering stuff and these glass jars were just the perfect fit for a Christmas gift. I started out with placing the lace onto the Glass Jar and worked on the Wooden Stars, I colored them with the White PanPastels by mixing the white PanPastel with Water and White Coarse. I glued the small and large stars onto eachother and onto the Glass Jar. Last but not least I attached some snow onto my project and inside of the Jar. And a wooden sentiment will tell you that this is a Xmas Gift.

The products that I have worked with are:

Claire C I've made a Christmas decoration this week, using my PanPastels to add some delicate pastel colours and some sparkle too!
I coloured the vellum flowers in the Christmas baubles with PanPastels, vellum isn't the sort of surface that works well with PanPastels but if you dab the vellum with a versamark inkpad the Pans stay put and have even more intensity of colour. I've also used Pans on my wallhanging too, they are great with embossing powders as they don't seem to have any static so you don't get  messy bits of embossing powder where you don't want them....

Gorgeous makes ladies! We'll be back next week with lots more artwork and the winners announcement from our last challenge too.
