Premium Art Brands

The random winner and Top 3 for Challenge #15 will be announced next week,
so check back to see if it's you.

As always our DT have been creating some mixed media magic, let's check out what they've been up to this week:

Tracy Evans - I am really enjoying using PanPastels at the moment, the blend of colours is fabulous and the colours work so well together. Once again I used a combination of circles in my design.

Yvonne - A birthday card for a very special relative.  All details are over on my blog, would love to see you there.

Tracy Scott - A new journal page in my large dylusions journal using the fabulous PanPastels and black and white doodle pens, check out my blog for more details.....

Claire C I've had loads of fun creating this little piece of fairyland to hang my keys on. I coated the MDF base with gesso and then got to work adding lots of colour with my PanPastels. I sealed it with my homemade sealer spray made with 1/3 matte medium and 2/3 water in a spritzer bottle and left it to dry before adding polka dots and stripes to the letters with a white Graph'It shake pen. Once everything was dry I created a scene for the background with my Pans on some white card and attached this to the back of the mdf.

here are links to the products I've used

Lou: I decided to make a tag using up lots of emphera bits I recently found whilst having a much needed tidy up! I have used my pan pastels to both lighten and age the pieces.

Terry, I had fun altering a photoframe with my favourite butterflies in it, lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and the roses stencil from DD were used. I colored the frame with Pearlescent Pans and White Coarse and topped it all with Mat Gel Medium.

These are the products I worked with

Good morning, and welcome to a brand new challenge.
Thanks so much to everyone who entered our last challenge, we were blown away by the standard of the entries! Make sure you pop back next week to check out the winner and Top 3

This time, our theme is

One for the boys

You've got two whole weeks to enter and as always the DT have created some gorgeous projects to inspire you

Claire C I've made a card for a new baby boy using Maimeri Light Modelling Paste, a Dutch Doobadoo Stencil and PanPastels in Ultramarine Blue Tint and Diarylide Yellow and Tint The image has been coloured with Graph'It markers and I've distressed the edges with Raw Umber PanPastel

Terry I have made a Vintage Babycard for a boy, I have worked with scappaper, colored the die underneith the baby with blue PanPastel, the hearts and all around the card and even the roses are colored with Pans. And to finish I placed some lace and hearts.

Lou: I decided to show how versatile Pan Pastels are with your die cuts to make a "Dad" themed card. The majority of my die cuts (at least 90%) were cut from cream, linen card and I have coloured them with my pan pastels. Full details of how I coloured my die cuts can be found on my blog.
