Tracy - Hey there gorgeous people. I've been playing in my art journal this week and have decided to go for a mix of watersoluble crayons alongside my beloved PanPastels. They work together like a dream !!!!

Collaged scrapbook papers and white and black acrylic paints create a fab page and the pans just add that all important depth of colour but in subtle shades....I love it and I hope you do too xxx

Alysha - Hi there Pan Pastellers! This week I have created a card using drawing gum as the stamping medium then rubbed various colors of pan pastels over it, removed the gum to reveal the butterflies underneath.Looking forward to seeing what you make, hugs Aly xx

Terry I have played with yet another Notebook, this time I worked with the Black Pearlescent Pan, lots of shine from the White Coarse PanPastel and offcourse I could not help myself to place a Butterfly and a sentiment. You wanna see more? Than just click my name and it will get you to my blog.

Claire C I haven't had much crafty time but PanPastels make it easy to make a very quick scene, you can find all the details on my blog

Back to our new challenge and today we're really thrilled to welcome our latest Guest Designer Alysha - hope you'll all be checking out her blog and we're really looking forward to seeing what she creates for us over the coming weeks, we love her free style and take on mixed media.

Alysha - This is my first Design Team post and I am so honored to be a part of a fabulous team of wonderfully  talented and friendly girls....

Here I have created a pennant/banner, using a texture embossing folder, home made texture paste, gesso. Permanent Red and Hansa Yellow Pan Pastels, Dyan Raveley stamps, glossy accents and a black gelato crayon and a text script stamp that's subtly on the background.
Hope you like my project and I look forward to seeing your designs for this challenge.
Hugs Aly xxx

Yvonne - Hi Alysha - great to have you along as guest Designer on our Challenge blog.
My project for this week is an aperture card with the main design being set behind the aperture - with a little PanPastel on the front which has been added through a stencil.  Hope you like this design - can't wait to see your entries into the Challenge.
I've photographed my card amongst my Mother's Day flowers - I do have vases but apparently jam jars are trendy!!!!  (showing my age) xxxxx

Claire C I've used my PanPastels to create a midnight scene. I love PanPastels for this kind of card, they blend beautifully and are so much more forgiving than using a brayer.

I've used a stencil to create the starry sky, applying  a mix of Glassy Gel Medium and glitter with a spatula. It looks so pretty and sparkly once the gel has dried

Terry: I had fun altering a hat and made it into a Shabby Chic one...what I did was, the first layer on it is Gesso, on top of the Gesso I played with the Pearlescent Violet Pan Pastel, when my layer was dry I played with Crackle and placed another layer of Pearlescent Pan on it.

On the top of the hat I used some Light Modelling Paste with a stencil of roses, you can hardly see it but trust me it is there. The Roses are colored with Pearlescent Violet and Magenta Extra Dark. Than I decided to use roses on the edge of the hat. I colored the roses with Iridescent Paste to give it an icy look. And offcourse I had to play with some lace and colored it with Iridescent Paste too.

The products that I have worked with are:
