The background I created with acrylic paints, modeling paste and a stencil. I decorated the card with flowers that I made a tutorial for in my blog. Check it out there. I also added a sentiment from the Winnie celebrations kit 3 sentiments to the card.
Have a crafty day! Instagram: @scrapbyirre

Carrianne - For my first challenge, I had to choose between an Autumn or alloween card. I chose Halloween, as I love scary things. I have created a cute, not-so-scary card featuring the Mummy Boo Halloween digital image. The sentiment is from Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings. I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut it out using my Scan N Cut machine. The background was created with distress oxide inks using the smooshing technique. I finished the card with purple sequins.
Copics used:
Skin: E000-00-11-02
Mummy: W3-2-1, BV000
Hair: C6-5-3

Jane - the new Christmas vintage collection is gorgeous! I created this tag using the Vintage Bells stamps and dies, together with the Holly Foliage layering stencils for the background.

Jud Martingale - I'm loving the new Vintage Christmas collection so I've been busy creating loads of lovely projects this month. I created this card using the Elegant Stripe embossing folder and the Poinsettia Wreath collection.

OK, over to the challenge - let's see what the team have created for you today! More great projects from the team this month!

Natalia - this is a sneaky peek at the new Yuletide Charm Christmas collection coming up very soon! I used this beautiful paper pack to create this card - the papers are double sided and full of these stunning toppers ready to just cut out and decoupage like this, I love how vintage it is, all I had to do was cut a few layers...

Irre - I created this journal cover using this cute Winnie Daisy Fairy printable stamp. I love using digistamps with mixed media techniques, a lot of people have a hang up about not being able to use printables but they are very versatile, you just need to learn how to use them well!

Christine - Hi everyone, Today I`m sharing a card with one of my favourite collections, Serenity. I used Serenity Fairy resting digital stamp and the sentiment is from the Serenity Fairy wishes bundle. This week we were challenged to create a card with some kind of closure, and I used a button and some string to wrap around it to keep the card closed. I love how this card turned out, and hope you got some inspiration. My IG: ckndesign_craft
I colored this beautiful fairy with my Copic markers and here are the colors I used:

Skin: E04-11-21-00-000, R20
Hair : W9-7-5, Y11
Outfit: YG99-03, G28-17-02, W3
Wings: G02-00-000
Flowers: E99, Y38-35-11
Leafs: G99-94, YG03
Mushroom: E93-15-18, YR14-18-68, R08

Kim Stewart - I decided on a cauldron shaped box and two 3" X 3" mini gift boxes(with lids) which i stuffed with halloween Mylar grass and then lots of yummy chocolate. I used pre-coloured digis from the Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween download set which i added to a tag shape for the cauldron and matted onto die cut shapes for the little boxes. My digital paper selections also come from Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween digital set.Lastly I chose sentiments from the Hocus Pocus Witches Set and changed the colour and saturation to better match my cardstock choices. Hopefully the chocolate lasts until halloween so i can give to my grandkids.
Irre - Hello. I have a new canvas for you today. For this project, I used a digital stamp from the January collection that is called Nature lover. I colored the stamp with Copic alcohol markers. I adhered the stamp to a round canvas and added texture around the edges with a stencil and modeling paste. Then, I painted the edges with white gesso and colored the edges with orange and yellow watercolors. I decorated the canvas with flowers, die-cut leaves, metal butterflies, and a metal cone. Instagram: @scrapbyirre

Natalia - I created this cute card using the new Gingerbread Cookie digi stamps and this lovely Scenic Winter stencil from the Polkadoodles store...

OK, over to the challenge - let's see what the team have created for you today! More great projects from the team this month!

Julie Nagle - This week’s Design Team Challenge was to create a card using an object from PolkaDoodles digital images to create a September Birthday Card. So many options - whatever would I choose?! My Son’s birthday is in September so instantly I thought of him. Last year he spent his birthday in Nova Scotia, Canada which led to the creation of this card. The Lighthouse from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles proved to be just perfect for the background technique I had planned to apply to this card. I blended using PolkaDoodles Blending Brushes with tones of blue/green distress inks onto the background using a random pebble stencil for the water, and a tea colored ink for sandy beach. A pallet knife and Grit paste allowed me to mimic the crashing waves at the shoreline of the lighthouse. I Sea it’s Your Birthday was the perfect sentiment for this charming coastal creation. Dive in and give this card a try! Further details can be found on my blog.

Wendy - For today's challenge, I tried something a little different. I used a pre-colored image. I absolutely adore the stunning colors on thIS Fantasy Moon image and wanted to use it on my card. I did pull some of the colors from the image to create a soft, simple background using my Copic markers. I also added Wink of Stella (on the moon) and some Unicorn Pearls. I love how it turned out! Thank you for looking!
Background:
Blue - BG0000, B0000, B000, B00, 0

Green - YG0000, G20, G40, 0

Christine -This time I decided to go with a mini slimline card featuring the Little Dudes collection. I decided to go with the Cool Dude digistamp and as a bonus you get some great sentiments and three digital pattern papers to go with him. For my background I used a soft blending brush and a stencil. Love how it turned out. I colored this cool little guy up with my Copic markers. ๐Ÿ’ฎ My IG: ckndesign_craft ๐Ÿ’ฎ
Here are the colors that I used:
Skin: E000-00-21-11-04
Hair: E11-13-15-18

JANELLE - Hello crafty friends! Here's a fun versatile fall birthday card using distress inks along with the Daisy Dragonfly Bundle ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’š For more inspiration check out my IG page @janelle.paper.sparkles

Irre - Hello! Today I want to share an altered playing card with the digital stamp Ruby looking pretty. I colored the stamp with Copic alcohol markers. The playing card, I covered with a paper from paper pack 8 from Winnie Starfish/Sandcastles. Then I added texture with a stencil and modeling paste. On top of that, I added embossing powder that I embossed with a heat gun. To the edges, I added pink small flower pot stones. Finally, I added a sentiment from Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments.
Have a crafty day!  Instagram: @scrapbyirre

Julie Barnes - The challenge for this card was Autumn or Halloween in Yellow/Orange. I chose to go with the Autumn theme as I just love the stamp set I used PD7263 Nuts About You. I also used the fabulous craft papers from paper pack In Love With Autumn PD7955 to decorate the inside of the card. I started off by stamping out several of the trees, toadstools and leaves, colouring them in and then fussy cutting them out. I ink blended the sky background using the stencil Great Outdoors PD7389 and then stamped the squirrel out onto kraft card and coloured in using Prismacolor pencils. Again, I fussy cut him out and then set about putting all the elements together on the card front. I then decorated the insert and envelope with the same stamp set.

Prismacolor colours used for this make:
PC1002 - 1034 - 118 - 924 - 922 - 925 - 937 - 945 - 1082 - 941 - 943 - 997 - 1084 - 1032 - 910

Betsy - Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this 5" x 7" card using the new Daisy Wings Stamp Matchables and the Daisy Dragonfly Stamp Matchables. I stamped out my images and colored them using Copic markers. I used clear glitter paste along with the coordinating stencil for the flowers. I used Stickles on the foremost dragonfly wing. Then I die cut the images using the coordinating dies. I cut my background paper to 4" x 6" and adhered it to my card base. I popped up the dragonfly and flowers with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment right on the base. I added little iridscent gems to the background. And that finished my card!

Jane
 – For my ‘Back to School’ card I have used this gorgeous girl from the JANUARY COLLECTION, and she is KNOWLEDGE IS EVERYTHING. The background is one of the stunning papers from WINNIE IN WONDERLAND and the sentiment is from WINNIE FRUIT PUNCH.

Renske - Hello, everyone! This time we as a design team were asked to create an interactive card. I love interactive cards, and the "Sky is the Limit" digital stamp is perfect for a slider card. I made a stencil for the moon myself, you punch a circle from acetate and this is perfect for creating a moon, for example. I used my distress inks and oxides for the background. I coloured the stamp with alcohol markers. In the sentiment set Panda Noodles sentiments, I found the perfect text: You are magical. I hope I have been able to inspire you again. Happy Crafting.
My Instagram: @renske.wishes.you

Julie Barnes
 - Here is a card I have made using one stamp set called Great Day Florals PD7148. Such a lovely set and so versatile. The aim was not to use any pinks - that is hard! I started by ink blending a 6 x 6 card base and stamped several of the flowers and elements onto the card and shaded some. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the larger flower head and toadstool and added to the front of the card to give it some depth. I then used papers fromVintage Candy paper pack PD8004 for the inside of the card, decorated the insert and envelope to math.
I used my Faber Castell pencils for this make using the following colours:
  • Cobalt Turquoise • Light Cobalt Turquoise • Emerald Green • Light Green • Light Cadmium Yellow • Light Yellow • Orange Glaze • Cadmium Orange
Irre - Hello everyone. Sharing today a birthday card, I used a digital stamp called Miss you from the Winnie Sugar sprinkles Spring collection. I colored the stamp with Copics alcohol markers and then cut the stamp out. For the background, I colored in a white paper with Distress ink through a stencil. Then, I stamped the paper with different stamps. Some with black ink and some with purple ink. I attached the colored stamp to the paper with foam pillows. I also added a sentiment from the stamp set Just hangin’ Little Dude. Finally, I attached it all to a white card base. Instagram: @scrapbyirre / Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_BjwL9Z8gt1i_E1WmKmrWg

JANELLE - Hello crafty friends! Here’s a sweet mousy tag using Birthday Mouse to wish a happy birthday. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿญ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿง€๐ŸฉตFor more inspiration check out my IG page @janelle.paper.sparkles
Copic Markers I used:
Mouse: C00, 0, 1, 3
Balloon: B10, 11, 13
Cheese: Y00, Y02, Y04
Ears/tail: R000, 01, 11
Crown: B37, 39

Jane – So I completely ignored the colour scheme the team had this week but at least I got the theme right. This is WANDA SHOPPING and I have placed her on a layered background using the FUNKY VORTEX GRID stencil, FUNKY BORDERS stamp set and FUNKY ALPHABET stamp set (all very ‘funky’). The sentiment is from the WANDA MESSAGES & QUOTES.
