Rachel...I was inspired by a piece of packaging for my post this month, when I saw it, I just knew it had to be a hedgehog house for Earlie. I sprayed the corrugated piece of packaging with some water to allow me to peel back the top layer of card and expose the corrugation which I then inked and dry brushed. I also used the stencils; heavenly circles, cloud landscape and grass lawn border. I used the flower collage stamp in the back ground and I also used the butterfly element. with additions of some reindeer moss and pretty paper flowers I thought that Earlie had a home.

Irre: Hello everyone. I'm back here with a new art journal page. This time I thought about making a page with a lot of things going on. But in the end, I wanted a simple page. You can never go wrong by doing that sometimes. For this page, I used two stamps and a stencil, and of course a lot of ink. But I did try something I've never done before, and that is stamping with gesso. You just gotta try it!
Jane – Hello everyone! Today I have a mixed media card to share with you. Rather a masculine card this time and most definitely on the grungy side. If you would like to see how it came together, I have a picture tutorial on my blog.
All Polkadoodles products used:
Clear Stamps: TIME TO GET FUNKY – CIRCLING AROUND – HANGING GARDEN – AMAZING TEXTURES
Sentiment: TIME TO BLOOM
Stencil: NUMBER COLLAGE
Lou: I decided to use up some of the cardboard/chipboard I have been hoarding from the back of hard backed envelopes, for this months project. Using the card, I decided to create a picture frame, with mosaic card tile effect around the outside.
Over on my blog, I have a step by step with lots of photos & on my YouTube channel a video showing how I created my frame
