We're sad to say that the lovely Tracy Scott is leaving us and moving on to some exciting new crafty adventures so we'd like to say a huge thank you to Tracy and I'm sure you'll join us in wishing her all the very best. Thank you Tracy :-)

So let's see what our DT girls have been busy with this week, as always they've been creating some beautiful artwork to inspire you .....

Alysha - Hi there and for my second installment this month I have canvas with Polkadoodles image Icky Ink on a lush Violet and Dark Pink Pan background. hugs Aly xx

Lou: It's been a while since I played along with my teamies but this year I am more determined to join in as I have missed my messy, altering, card making, stampbord, pan pastel fun! I have upcycled a rather grim looking plastic frame bought from a £ shop ...

I have added layers of gesso and then pan pastels, sealing everything with Maimeri matt gel. The floral elements were stamped on to different mediums, coloured with pan pastels and then added to the frame.

Products used:

Claire C Hi I love to colour with my PanPastels and I've made a card using an old favourite stamp from Prima. Because PanPastels can be removed with a pencil eraser you don't have to worry about being to precise and they work beautifully with markers and pencils too so once I'd coloured the image I added some fine details with my pencils. The background was made using pearlescent Pans and stencilling with Maimeri Light Modelling Paste, once that was dry I highlighted it with Pewter PanPastel and splattered some black ink here and there.

Here's another view of the focal image

Terry; I had some fun making these Flowerlabels, The background was colored with Metallic Pans, on top of that I used a stencil with Modelling Paste and let it dry.....when it was dry I stamped a butterfly and colored it with the Light Gold Metallic Pan and some crackle and to top it off I played with Gel Medium. The second Flowerlabel was the made the same way. You can put it into a pot for decorations.

The products that I worked with are:

Alysha - Hi Happy New Year and to start off a lovely card made using Polkadoodles NEW Papillon Stamps with a soft Pink Pan Pastel Background. Looking forward to seeing your creations.
hugs Aly xxx

Terry: Hiya guys Happy New Year to all of you.....I wanted to show you a few of the projects that I made for the Christmas Fair at work....I got the idea from a friend she made a few of these pots that she worked on with Fur and stars.....so I thought this would be just great to make for the Christmas Fair. I had these glass pots and dressed them up with Fur......than I used two pieces of rope, the first one went on top of the pot right underneith the moss and the second pieces of rope in the middle of the pot. I worked on the stars with Gesso and Crackle....when they were dry I placed a layer of White Coarse and to cover it all up I painted the stars with Maimeri Mat Gel. To finish my projects I placed moss in the pot and around the top of the pot. Last but not Least I placed a Hyacint in the middle.

Some of the products that I have worked with:

Claire C I've had a little time off work so decided to play in my art journal and followed the free Life Book lesson kindly offered by Tam Laporte from last years Life Book. I've used lots of different products on this project and of course my lovely PanPastels. You can find all the details over on my blog

Tracy Scott - morning lovelies and a very happy new year to you all. We can't wait to see what you come up with for the final challenge of the year...

I've been playing with limited supplies at the moment. I sketched an coloured my girl using only my beloved PanPastels and coloured pencils.
