So let's see what our DT girls have been busy with this week, as always they've been creating some beautiful artwork to inspire you .....
Alysha - Hi there and for my second installment this month I have canvas with Polkadoodles image Icky Ink on a lush Violet and Dark Pink Pan background. hugs Aly xx
Lou: It's been a while since I played along with my teamies but this year I am more determined to join in as I have missed my messy, altering, card making, stampbord, pan pastel fun! I have upcycled a rather grim looking plastic frame bought from a £ shop ...
I have added layers of gesso and then pan pastels, sealing everything with Maimeri matt gel. The floral elements were stamped on to different mediums, coloured with pan pastels and then added to the frame.
Products used:
Claire C Hi I love to colour with my PanPastels and I've made a card using an old favourite stamp from Prima. Because PanPastels can be removed with a pencil eraser you don't have to worry about being to precise and they work beautifully with markers and pencils too so once I'd coloured the image I added some fine details with my pencils. The background was made using pearlescent Pans and stencilling with Maimeri Light Modelling Paste, once that was dry I highlighted it with Pewter PanPastel and splattered some black ink here and there.
Here's another view of the focal image
Terry; I had some fun making these Flowerlabels, The background was colored with Metallic Pans, on top of that I used a stencil with Modelling Paste and let it dry.....when it was dry I stamped a butterfly and colored it with the Light Gold Metallic Pan and some crackle and to top it off I played with Gel Medium. The second Flowerlabel was the made the same way. You can put it into a pot for decorations.
