Mask stencil 6 x 6 inches Spirograph

Doreen
I started colouring my background  with PanPastels, by masking off my moon and tearing some card to form the hills. I then sprayed some cheap hairspray over to seal the chalk.
When dry I stamped my images and sentment with black Versafine, I coloured my roses with Distress inks

I have used Black, Phthalo Blue and Chromium Oxide green shade PanPastels

Claire  I've used my PanPastels and a gorgeous Dutch Doobadoo stencil to create this card, I created the main image by applying Maimeri Glassy Gel over the stenciled image and then sprinkling on microbeads. You can find all the details on  my blog

here are the products I used

Terry Hiya guys, I was having fun altering a little square box, I worked on the background with lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and the georgous stencil with lots of roses from Dutch Doobadoo, PanPastels and Crackle. |And to finish I placed the lace all around the box and some butterflies on top. They are colored with Pans too.

Today we are really excited to not only bring you more inspiration for our challenge but to also introduce our new Guest Designer who has joined us
Yvonne Froehlich
You are going to adore Yvonne's work!

So let's get to today's challenge, which is week two of our
Flora and Fauna

So let's see this week's inspiration from the team...

Yvonne...I used an A4 sheet of white card onto which I blended a selection of Panpastels - I used Magenta, Violet, Orange and Yellow.  I drew around a size 8 tag (three times) to make the Triptych effect. I cut the tags out which left a strip of card which I used to die cut the butterflies so that the colours would tone in with the background. I also used the Panpastels to colour the seam binding. After stamping I added black Distress Glitter to make it pop.

Doreen... I first made my background using  Permanent Red, Magenta and Diarylide Yellow PanPastels while masking out the moon.I then gave it a quick spritz of some cheap hairspray to set the pastels. My images were then stamped  with Black Versafine ink.xxx

Terry, Hey there guys I had fun altering a heartshaped box, used lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. Lots of Acrylic Paints and PanPastels to colour the butterflies on top and to cover the box.

Claire  I've created a summery scene with  my PanPastels, its so quick and easy to do and so much easier than brayering. You can find all the details on my blog

Challenge 16 Flora and Fauna

Welcome to another fabulous Pan Pastel Challenge!

We are really really excited today to announce a brand new team member to you - we have been stalking all her lovely makes for a while now and we just had to ask her to join us here when we saw how creative she is with her Pan Pastels! So were are really pleased to welcome the super talented
to the team - make sure you check out both Doreen's blog and the rest of the team too because these ladies are mega talented!

Our theme for you this week is
Flora and Fauna
and obviously you can interpret this how you wish - it's a really great theme to use with Pan Pastels!

You have until 29th June to enter and one Random Winner will be chosen to receive some gorgeous stash whilst the Design Team will also choose our favourite Top 3 (we are still looking for Guest Designers)....You DO NOT have to use ANY of our products to enter but obviously we'd love it if you did!

Let's see what the team have made this week...

Anjie...I loved this theme, it can be interpreted in so many different ways.  I have used the 15 x 15cm Owl mask and the Orange - Pan Pastel and Violet - Pan Pastel through the mask and then outlined it with a fine black marker pen to make it pop.
I then mixed the same pan pastels with the Maimeri Iridescent Paste and painted the flowers. Finally I added the little dots around the edge of the card to use the left over medium.

Doreen....Hello to you all, Well for my debut make here on the PanPastel team I have made a card that can be used for any purpose....
I have used PanPastels Phthalo Blue,Permanent Green, Permanent Red,Black and White for the background and light touch of black to define the hills.
I used Black Versafine to stamp my images  and fussy cut the butterfly to add some dimension.

Nikky...I haven't been able to join in this challenge for ages but I really wanted to do this one because I wanted to make something for someone who's going through a really hard time at the mo and I think this will cheer her up.
I made this in about an hour and it was just made up with loads of bits and pieces I had hanging around...a 6" MDF heart and lots of Tattered flowers from Tim Holtz after I finally got this die about a month ago at a bargain price of £2! I coloured the centres of the flowers which were cut from an old book and used Permanent Red and Turquise, together with a bit of Burnt Sienna here and there. These 3 are my most used Pan Pastels, I think I probably use them every single time I craft - for me the Burnt Sienna has replaced ALL my distress inkpads and it goes everywhere with me for distressing edges. All the other embellies were hanging around on my desk - mainly all Dutch Doobadoo. You can see more about how I made this on my blog.

Claire  I've made a little canvas using the beautiful butterfly stencil from Premium Craft Brands, I've added lots of colour with PanPastels and then highlighted the butterfly with Maimeri Glassy Gel and microbeads, you can find all the deets on my blog

Glassy Gel 200ml tube

Terry, I was playing with some butterflies, I just love them and I wanted to give them a nice fresh and bright colour. So I mixed some panpastels together and this is what the color turned out to be. I played with the rosesstencil from DD and finished with Irisdescent Paste
