Now if you're short of inspiration check out these gorgeous projects from our DT

Claire  I've altered a couple of picture frames using versmark coloured with lots of metallic PanPastels and a smidge of Magenta Extra Dark here and there too. I've also made a couple of pictures to pop in the frames by colouring crackle medium with Gold PanPastel and stamping around the focal images with versamark and applying more PanPastels

Anjie - I am so excited to be part of this fabulously talented team, thank you very much for having me on board! Here is my first project. I have used an image and papers from the fabulous Cherryblossom Lane CD Rom Collection I used White Gesso through the Dutch Doobadoo Mask, let it dry them rubbed over the top with a Versamark ink pad and then used the Rich Gold Pan Pastel over the top to pick up the honeycomb texture. I then stamped out some flowers from the Studio 12 Vintage Scruffy Flowers A5 stamp set and again used the Versamark and Pan Pastel over them. I also stamped some of the leaves from the stamp set and then used the 640.3 permanent Green Shade - Pan Pastel over them.

Tracy - Hello sweet friends, I can`t tell you how much I adore using Metallic Pan Pastels, so very rich in color and beautifully soft.

My project was created on the very last page of an altered second hand book that I started last year.
Maimeri Gesso, Matt Gel, Metallic Pan Pastels, a touch of Permanent Red and Black PP, scraps of paper and a little Christy Tomlinson inspired doodle doo and it was done.

You can find all the details on my blog here

Lou: I have had fun using soft silver metallic pan pastels and stars: Doobadoo stencils and laser cuts. Apologies for the poor photo but it has been hard to show my card in all it's sparling glory but believe me, it does shine.

Terry I had fun altering a heartsy shaped box, I worked on the background with Iridescent Paste and Metallic PanPastels, I choose a cute image of a "golden" girl and worked around her with the Honeycomb Stencil, Swirls, hearts, butterflies and wings from Doobadoo, to finish I placed some roses and my box became a vintagy one.

Congratulations to you all, don't forget to pick up your Top 3 Badge for your blogs

Now on to our new challenge where we want to see

Three Textures

and as always our DT have created some amazing projects to inspire you

Terry Hey there guys, I had so much fun altering a simple box into a classy one, at least I think so....I used lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste on top of a fabulous Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo, even a bit of crackle and Irisidescent Paste to cover it all and to create the Texture on top of the box. And offcourse I have worked with the fabulous colours (psss my favourite colour) Magenta, Looks like purple and Magenta Tint, looks like lavender to me

Lots of roses and a few butterflies from DD, some lace on the hearts and a sentiment stamp to finish my project for this week.
Tracy - Hello sweet friends, I have been doing so many layouts this week that I thought I would go with the flow and do one more for this weeks challenge.
I had so much fun using Maimeri Gesso, Light Modelling Paste through a Dutch Doobadoo Art Masks, adding Pan Pastels to tissue paper and . . . .
. . .  a few stamps and stickers thrown in for good measure! More over on my blog here.

Lou: I have made a tag this week using the Doobadoo Fabric Art ( iron-on denim) as my base. I have lightly brushed the denim with silver pan pastel to create a soft sheen. I have used Haberdashery    stamp set from Studio 12 coloured with raw umber pan pastel and then embossed with clear detail powder. The background paper is from an old book which has been "antiqued" using raw omber pan pastel.
The gorgeous swirls, buttons and butterflies are from Dutch Doobadoo  and they have been lightly tinted with raw umber and white pan pastel.

Claire  I had loads of messy fun creating my project for the new challenge, creating different textures using Maimeri Iridescent Paste coloured with Gold and Copper PanPastels. I used a palette knife, a stamp and a Pronty stencil
and then had a play with a texture tool around the side of my little book box. The butterfly is one of the gorgeous laser cuts from Dutch Doobadoo, love em! You can find all the details on my blog

Nikky....I am adoring the new Doobadoo products - they go so well with all the mediums and masks and - well, everything! It's a long time since I came across products which are so versatile in terms of the genre of crafts you can use them with...they're fab! I decided to make a simple tag this week.
I used Phthalo Green and a bit of Perm Red Pan Pastels to cover a white tag shape, then used the Faded dots Doobadoo mask, applied Versamark through it and then dusted over the top with metallic Pan Pastels. I cut a couple of strips of paper and stamped with Versamark again with the check background stamp and then coloured it with Perm Red again. I used a scroll stamp and stazon to stamp over the background and then just made a little embellie using the kraft heart and the laser cut wings which are just awesome. You can see all the products I used here.

although our challenges are now fortnightly, this is a 1 week challenge and no its not to confuse you, its because we've got something very exciting coming up so we needed to tweak the challenges a little bit so keep popping back to see what we've got up our sleeves!

Claire  I've used an mdf blank which had gone totally wrong and smothered it in Maimeri Light Modelling Paste, adding texture with a palette knife for my frame. Once it was dry I added colour with PanPastels (Raw Umber, Neutral Grey and white) and sealed with Maimeri Matte Gel. The image has also been coloured wih PanPastels, the fence was added using a White Graph'It Shake pen, full details are on my blog

Tracy - Hello sweet friends, I had so much fun creating and framing my art this week using Pan Pastels, Mediums and a Stencil Mask. First I created a little mixed media art . . .

. . . before turning my attention to the wooden frame . . .

. . . applying touches of Metallic Light Gold, Pathalo Blue Shade and Titanium White Pan Pastels to blend it all together. More Pictures on my blog here. xx

Terry Hey there guys, I had loads of fun with the Springfeel colours, used Gesso and Light Modelling Paste and a Stencil Mask on the background , PanPastels offcourse and butterflies from the wendy and her sentiment cause butterflies are fragile....More detaills on my blog......

Lou: I have made a traditional frame using dies to house my sentiment (new designs created by Nikky for PCB). I have created my background using a mixture of distress inks, pan pastels and stamped images .... however all my images have been coloured/painted using pan pastels!

The added embellishments are from Doobadoo paper cuts - buttons, feathers, swirls and butterflies. I have highlighted my flowers and leaves using a GraphIt white shaker pen. Full details of my project can be found on my blog and I would love it if you popped over to say "hi".
